WEST OTAGO is HOSTING THE OSTAS

 

The OSTA's have been established to recognise performance and production excellence amongst members of the Musical Theatre New Zealand in Otago & Southland.


THE 2017 BLACK TIE AWARDS EVENING WILL BE HOSTED BY


WEST OTAGO THEATRICAL SOCIETY on 24 FEBRUARY 2018.

The awards bring the various societies and members throughout Otago and Southland together like never before through an annual Black Tie Awards Celebration where we acknowledge those who have excelled in their chosen field and celebrate and share our passion and love for theatre whilst recognising excellence and talent within our musical theatre community. Musical Theatre New Zealand (MTNZ) Merit Award presented to Jeff Rea for outstanding service to Musical Theatre.

Awarded at 2015 MTNZ conference held in March.

 

This is a cheque for $2000 from West Otago Theatrical Society from the 2014 end of year show “Cheshire Cats”, to the Cancer society. Presented recently by Stephanie Green Director of the play to Janine McCaughan , the Support Services Liaison Clutha for the Cancer Society Otago & Southland Division. The money was from ticket sales and The Design a Bra Competition public vote.
